Dublin Bus diverts three routes after road closure at Liffey Valley

Dublin Bus says routes L53, 80 and G2 cannot serve the terminus at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre because of a road closure, and are terminating instead on Fonthill Road until further notice.

The operator posted the service notice at 18:14 UTC on Monday, Oct. 26. Its Dublin Bus update identifies the closure and route changes but does not give a reason for the closure.

Separately, an X user, posting at 18:16 UTC, said they had seen emergency services at the shopping centre and asked what was happening. The post does not establish the nature of an incident. The supplied reports do not state whether anyone was injured or whether the shopping centre itself is closed.
